Equality & Diversity

Our Equality Objectives reflect The Mandeville School's priorities and draw upon available data and other evidence. Careful analysis of this is undertaken in order to ensure that we are working to achieve improved outcomes for different groups.

Equality Objectives

Our equality objectives are:

1. Ensure that the school’s academic and pastoral curriculum is diverse and reflects a range of cultures, religions, abilities, types of family, sexual identities and genders positively

2. Ensure that students from all ethnic backgrounds can achieve results commensurate with their abilities

3. Ensure all students feel supported within the school community: represented in the school’s curriculum and supported to achieve and succeed

4. To establish an inclusive school culture where all stakeholders take pride in the diversity within the school community

5. Ensure we implement strategies to narrow the attainment gap for SEND and PP students and ensure disadvantaged students fully engage with opportunities beyond the classroom
