Being part of The Insignis Academy Trust has opened up a world of new opportunities and enabled The Mandeville School to rethink its sixth form provision. From September 2024 we will be offering a small 6th form provision at TMS for BTEC Sport Level 3 and we hope to further expand our course offer in September 2025. We are excited to be collaborating with Next Phase Academy in the delivery of their BTEC Sport Level 3. In addition to studying BTEC Sport, sixth form students at TMS study PSHE and the Extended Project Qualification. As part of Insignis Academy Trust we work closely with our other schools and support students in moving to Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School and Princes Risborough School.

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
EPQ is worth half an A-Level (28 UCAS points) and is highly regarded by universities and employers as it enables transferable skills that are relevant to independent learning. The course has an element of taught practices such as referencing, academic writing and presentation skills. Students will be guided to reflect and assess their project. The EPQ course is suitable for students who are motivated to study a topic of their choice in depth.
